Designed to be warm and durable…wind and water-resistant. The recycled fleece insulating layer is enclosed in a durable recycled polyester shell, keeping body heat in, and the elements out. Auto-lock buckles on each side of the jacket provide easy on/off.

My dog is missing her front left leg and her coat slips sideways to look like a one shouldered cape. I don’t quite understand how it works. Are there left-shouldered and right-shouldered coats? Do you have any videos of how they are put on?

Ruffwear K-9 Overcoat: states coat is for tripawd but I look at a conversation that says it’s not meant for 3-legged dogs so I guess I’m confused and just wanting to know about product before I purchase for my 3-legged dog who is missing her front right leg.
Yes, we recommend the Ruffwear apparel for Tripawds, but no, none of there cots or sweaters are designed specifically for amputee dogs. Some members have sewn up the spare leg hole, but please note that this would void any warranty or return. We hope this addresses your concern, thank you!
