Get Strong with FitPAWS Gear, Now at Tripawds

Tripawds now offers FitPAWS Gear for keeping canine amputees strong!

Did you know . . .  after recovering from surgery, a strong Tripawd needs more than regular walks.

Walking is a good activity when life gets back to normal, but that hop around the ‘hood is only good for building endurance.

For Tripawd amputees, canine physical therapists say that exercises for strong abdominal, back and leg muscles are more critical for long-term fitness.

Working out with FitPAWS® canine conditioning equipment is a great way to have fun while exercising your Tripawd. FitPAWS® makes the best gear for rehabilitation, fitness training, and injury prevention. They also have several DVD workouts that anyone can do at home with their Tripawd.

Ever since Agile Cow Dog Maggie introduced us to the good people and products at FitPAWS®, we’ve been fans of their equipment. Today, we’re excited to announce that Tripawds is now an official FitPAWS® reseller.

The company is located in Longmont Colorado, not too far from our home base. Recently we met the FitPAWS® crew to see how their products work, and Tripawds Spokedawg Wyatt Ray tested some of their equipment, including the Peanut, a stability ball made for canine conditioning and balance exercises.

Stay tuned for complete reviews of all FitPAWS® products, but until then, be sure to visit the new Fitness Page on the Tripawds Gear blog to see all of their fun doggie fitness products.

When it comes to a Tripawd, remember, walking won’t build muscle strength, but FitPAWS® canine conditioning equipment and exercise guides will!

  1. Woohooo!!!!!!!! VERY VERY COOL GUYS!!! Did you get Wyatt on the peanut ball? I haven’t tried Maggie on her ball since amputation…only the Fitpaws balance pads…

I JUST got a new Fitpaws eggball too – ordered for Haley to work her doing PT work for her shoulder injury. Bummer I didn’t know you were going to sell them…I’d of ordered via Tripawds! 🙁

Have you talked Fitpaws into making a bigger balance pad yet? I tried…no luck..

He did indeed! Stay tune for his first FitPAWS review. 😉

We did ask them about larger balance pads, but production and shipping would be cost prohibitive. They suggested using Velcro tape to attach multiple pads together.
