Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over the best Tripawd dog harnesses, the Web Master Plus or Flagline Harness.

For proper fit, measure your dog’s girth standing up, around the widest part of his/her rib cage.

NOTE: It is girth size, not weight or breed, that determines proper fit. For in-between sizes, Ruff Wear recommends selecting the smaller size for an active, contoured fit. I ordered and returned this jacket. I’m a big fan of dog jackets with an opening for a rear-clip harness. I’m also a big fan of RuffWear in general. What I didn’t like about this jacket is how massive the openings for the front legs are. It’s going to let in a lot of cold air. If I’m trying to keep my dog warm, I want something more full coverage. As much as I love RuffWear, I have switched to Hurtta for winter dog jackets.
